This wonderful apartment with a distinctive is located in the heart of the capital in Madrid de Los Austrias, a neighborhood with a wonderful charm and atmosphere, full of history which dates back to the Medieval period.
If you’re looking for things to see and do in the city then you couldn’t be in a better place.
Plaza Mayor I is a very unique property, stunningly located right above one of the arched entrances of the Plaza Mayor, the most famous public space in Madrid, with breathtaking views of this beautiful rectangular town square dating back to the XV century which was once the center of Old Madrid.
The apartment has plenty of natural light due to the large balconette windows that open up to the Plaza Mayor. The sophisticated, chic decor combines modern and traditional furniture with contemporary works of art of renowned artists in a space that has been renovated keeping its high ceilings, original moldings, wooden window panes, and absolutely beautiful tiled floors from the XVIII century.
The furnishings of the living room include a modern sofa, two armchairs a coffee table, side tables, and a Smart TV. It also features an antique round table with a marble top and two beautiful antique armchairs upholstered with a modern batik fabric flanked by two gorgeous antique floor lamps.
The dining area is a wonderful space with built-in bookshelves, a large format photograph, and a drawing by renowned contemporary artists. It includes a rectangular antique wooden table and one-of-a-kind seating where six people can enjoy a meal together.
The kitchen comes fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances and traditional custom cabinetry. It has a small table with two chairs for a quick breakfast.
There are two bedrooms in this apartment. The master bedroom has a double bed (1.50 x 2.00 m), bedside tables, a desk with a chair, and built-in closets. There is a one-of-a-kind vintage-styled bathroom with a shower tub and a sink with an antique mirror. This large size bathroom has open closets and seating space.
The second bedroom features two single beds (0.90 x 1.90 m) a closet and an ensuite bathroom with a walking shower.
The apartment is ideally located with quick and easy access to every spot of the city both by foot or by public transport.
The nearby Royal Palace, Cathedral of Almudena, and Sabatini Gardens and other historical sites add grandeur to the area. Also nearby is Puerta del Sol, considered a central square in Madrid and also surrounded by many restaurants, tapa bars and cafés. The neighborhood also has a very good gastronomic scene with many traditional well-know restaurants serving typical Madrileño dishes, like the Botín restaurant, founded in 1725 -the oldest one in the world- located just outside one of the Plaza Mayor’s entrances.
Also nearby is the San Miguel Market which is your opportunity to try many different types of authentic local foods.

• Please note a 30 € weekly mandatory cleaning will be schedule upon arrival. Laundry Bedding and bathroom linen laundry will be optional.
• 30% Prepayment: Guests will pay 30% of the total amount of the stay when the booking is made 31 days or more prior to the check-in date. The remaining 70% of your stay must be paid 20 days before the check-in date.
• 100% Prepayment:Guests shall prepay the full amount (100%) of the stay when the booking is made 30 days or less prior to the check-in date.
Payments should be made online using a bank card (debit or credit) or by a bank transfer. When paying online we provide a payment link by e-mail upon receipt of your booking request.
Monday to Friday, from 9 am. to 8 pm.
A check-in fee of 60€ will be charged outside these hours

Mandatory cleaning one a week (2 hours min., 15€/hour). Changing of bed or bathroom linen is not included.
Change of bed linen: 15 € per set of bedsheets. The Duvet cover is extra: 10 €
Change of towels: 10 € per set of 3 towels.
- 100% refund if the cancellation is made 45 days or more before the arrival day.
- 50% refund if the cancellation is made from 45 to 15 days before the arrival day.
- Cancellations made 15 days or less from the arrival day will not be entitled to a refund.
The refundable deposit is returned within 15 days after the departure date as long as the apartment does not show any damage.
RENOVATIONS & CONSTRUCTIONS
The Right Stay is not responsible for any renovations being carried out within or outside the buildings or nearby construction sites in the city of Madrid, which may cause disturbances and inconvenience to guests.
We reserve the right to change the rented apartment for one with similar or better characteristics, in the case of exceptional and justified events. These changes shall be at no extra cost to the guest.
Smoking is not allowed. Pets are not allowed. Parties are not allowed.
The refundable deposit is returned within approximately 15 days after departure and once the flat has been reviewed and shows no damage.
