The Justicia district, encompassing the neighborhoods of Chueca and Salesas, derives its name from the Ministry
of Justice, a 19th-century modernist building located in the area. Nearby, in the Salesas neighborhood, stand magnificent landmarks such as the beautiful Church of Santa Barbara – Convent of the Salesas – and the iconic Modernist masterpiece, the stunning Palacio de Longoria, an exquisite Art Nouveau building housing the Society of Authors.
